Guided Vantour from Hilo Pier to Volcano & Waterfalls

This tour begins with a pickup and drop off from your cruiseship at the Hilo Pier approximately 9am to 4pm.
Your narrated tour continues by passing thru the city of Hilo heading up north along the lush rain-forested Hamakua coast along a scenic drive. Visit the 400+ foot drops of Akaka and Kahuna Falls via a lush jungle trail. Continue on to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you can have a no host lunch right at the edge of the Halemaumau Crater. After lunch visit the Thomas Jaggar Museum, see the Halemaumau crater up close, drive by the site of 1982 lavaflow, hike the Devastation Trail, and experience the Thurston Lavatube. Along the way to and from the National Park, visit the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory and the Akatsuka Orchid Garden.
