Proceeding to the Central Valley, takes us to Historical Paia. Start your day with a tasty continental breakfast in Paia, then it's time for a leisurely mountain drive to the summit of Haleakala. Ascend to the House of the Sun Visitor Center; let the crisp air awaken your senses to breathtaking panoramas of the crater. Photograph multi-island views at the 10,023 ft summit.

Descend Haleakala to the serene gardens of Alii Kula Lavender Farm. Explore the fields of lavender that grow all year round. The fresh and invigorating fragrance will fill your senses and uplift the spirit. Enjoy a scrumptious smoked chicken luch on the lanai and learn about this mystical and mysterious herb.
