On your way to Pearl Harbor, hear an extraordinary, live narration of “a day which will live in infamy” as your professional guide recounts the events of the first attack on the USA. There, you will experience the official Pearl Harbor Tour, which includes a dramatic film containing actual footage of the attack, a Navy boat ride, and a visit to the Arizona Memorial. At the Memorial, you will visit the Shrine Room and reflect on the names of the 1,177 men resting on the sunken battleship below. At the National park take time to browse through the fascinating Arizona Memorial WWII Museum exhibits and visit the gift shop where you can find WWII books, souvenirs, and memorabilia. You will also view battleship row, a WWII submarine, the headquarters of the US Pacific Fleet, and the “black tears of the Arizona”. Take a trip through history to the deck of the USS Missouri where the Peace treaty ending WWII was signed. See the dent caused by a Kamikaze plane as it nearly destroyed this famous warship. Learn the real story behind the “Mighty MO”. Experience life after the Pearl Harbor attack, by visiting the martial law court and Hawaii WWII Museum. Then visit Hawaii’s Army Museum, housing numerous guns, tanks, and helicopters.
